The Fresh Arts Ball

Not your typical gala

Fresh Arts Annual Ball

Complete with zany costumes, live entertainment, dancing, an art auction, and creative cocktails, Fresh Arts’ galas are always memorable!

Whether paying homage to shamed celebrities (The Black Ball), runaway brides (The Ball n’ Chain), space invaders (The Space Ball), or Willy Wonka (The Gum Ball), Fresh Arts’ creative fundraisers never fail to wow its guests.

Anything but your typical gala, the Fresh Arts Ball is an annual celebration of the organization’s impact on Houston’s creative community.

Most importantly, the annual ball aims to raise between 15-20% of the organization’s operating expenses. These funds support Fresh Arts’ ability to empower local artists through the development of professional skill-building opportunities and the creation of free public arts programming for the benefit of all Houstonians.

By supporting the Fresh Arts Ball, you are helping to sustain a thriving arts community in Houston.

One of a-kind arts experiences

Artists are at the center of what we do. That’s why Fresh Arts leverages the annual event as a platform to showcase a wide range of Houston’s artistic talent through live music, out-of-this-world performances, interactive art installations, and unique entertainment showcases that you won’t see at your typical gala.

Local Art Auction

In line with our mission to connect artists with new audiences, Fresh Arts annual Gala Auction features exclusively local artists and 40+ works of art in all price ranges plus unique arts experience packages that you’ll only find at the Fresh Arts Auction.

More than just a fundraising channel for Fresh Arts, artists may select a 50/50 split for the opportunity to earn additional funds to further their careers. Artists are then invited to attend the event as our special guests providing patrons the opportunity to meet the artists up close and personal.

Did we mention zany costumes?!

Guests are encouraged to be a part of the art showcase by expressing their creativity through costumes that evoke the gala theme.  From homemade getups to custom-designed masterpieces, everyone is an artist at the Fresh Arts gala.
