2025 was a year of transition and momentum building for Fresh Arts, shaped by the artists and communities we serve. We stayed grounded in what matters most: listening, showing up, and building artist-driven programs that meet real needs across Houston. We also welcomed new board members after revising our approach to recruitment and onboarding to make it more equitable, accessible, and values-aligned. And across our programs, we embedded deeper mentorship and learning opportunities, planting seeds we’re excited to see fully bloom in 2026. By the end of the year, we completed our new strategic plan, positioning Fresh Arts for growth with clearer goals and stronger alignment. There’s so much to look forward to in 2026, and we can’t wait to keep building alongside Houston’s artists. Fresh Arts envisions Houston as a place where artists and communities thrive together.
