Fiscal Sponsorship

Fiscal Sponsorship unlocks support for artist-led projects existing outside of traditional nonprofit models.

Since 2013, Fresh Arts’ Fiscal Sponsorship program has been opening doors to new streams of support for our city’s artist-led projects and organizations of all artistic disciplines. The program provides fiscal oversight for utilizing charitable funds as well as consultation services to enhance professional skills.

HOUSTON CLIMATE JUSTICE MUSEUM

The Houston Climate Justice Museum & Cultural Center is a new museum located in Houston’s East End. Our mission is to use climate change as a jumping off point for rethinking what museums do. As a bit of an art and science museum rolled into one, we focus on interdisciplinary engagement with environmental injustice and the climate crisis.

MONARCH CHAMBER PLAYERS

Monarch Chamber Players is a collective of Houston-based professional musicians committed to taking classical chamber music out of the concert hall and into accessible community spaces. Founded in October 2020, Monarch safely presented over 80 socially-distanced concerts as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

GARZA STUDIOS IN SEGUNDO BARRIO

GARZA STUDIOS are Houston’s newest and only acoustically-sound spaces designed specifically for the use of musicians, dancers, actors, and performing artists. The 10 studio spaces are affordable; available to rent by the hour for rehearsals, classes, coachings, lessons, intimate performances, livestream events, and video productions.
