You are invited to our Arts District Partners Kick-Off Party that First Ward artist Allan Rodewald is hosting with Fresh Arts on Tuesday, May 23, at Expressive Design, Inc. (Allan’s residential art studio) from 6-8pm.
Allan Rodewald is a long-time resident of the Arts District and a contemporary abstract artist. He co-created the public mural “Taking Flight” with Tra Slaughter — and has graciously opened up his home to help us launch our Arts District Partners membership drive.
Come meet with fellow supporters of arts and culture and see for yourself Allan’s unique and beautiful studio & home with the infamous art palette-shaped pool and gorgeous views of downtown. To celebrate all things Arts District, enjoy music from local artists and drinks and hors d’oeuvres from local 1st Ward and 6th Ward eateries & breweries.
