We’re excited to expand our Fresh Arts Board and are looking for passionate individuals who love supporting the arts! If you’re enthusiastic about shaping Houston’s vibrant arts scene and want to make a meaningful impact, we’d love to hear from you.

At this time, we have limited openings and are especially seeking individuals with a fundraising background—or those ready to roll up their sleeves and actively support fundraising initiatives. Fresh Arts relies on its Board to help strengthen our impact through donor engagement, relationship-building, and resource development. Your commitment in this area will directly support Houston-area artists and sustain the programs they depend on.

As a Houston-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Fresh Arts is dedicated to empowering local artists through programs that build knowledge, amplify resources, and connect communities through art. Our initiatives include the annual Artist INC Houston seminar, career workshops, fiscal sponsorship for community projects, and a multidisciplinary artist residency. We also maintain resources like the Artist Opportunity Board and Artist Resource Library, while stewarding Arts District Houston, a state-designated cultural district that brings public art experiences to the community.

Fresh Arts envisions Houston as a place where artists and communities thrive together. As a Board member, you’ll play an essential role in realizing this vision by providing leadership, championing the organization in the community, and—most importantly—helping expand our fundraising capacity to ensure a strong and sustainable future for the arts.
