Join Talento Bilingüe de Houston (TBH) December 3rd for an opening reception for Ms. Lizbeth Ortiz from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at TBH. Ms. Ortiz, a graduate from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York, has been recognized by many for her style of recycling materials and incorporating them into various modeling pastes and gels which she uses for her art.
Ms. Ortiz´s latest accomplishment has been being named the official artist of the 2008 Latin Grammy Awards by the Latin Recording Academy. Ms. Ortiz ´s art graced the cover of the 2008 Latin Grammy Awards invitation, show tickets, posters and program books. Lizbeth´s work delicately yet sternly reflects her social, familial and moral daily interpretation.
Guest artist Maria Palacios "Goddess on Wheels" will give a special poetry performance at the reception.
